Grants from two of the area’s influential foundations will train human service agencies in a more customer-friendly style of service. The Rochester Area Community Foundation and the Marie C. and Joseph C. Wilson Foundation combined to award $244,000 to eight agencies — including the Monroe County Department of Human Services — to improve relationships between staff and clients and ultimately get better results.
